When you place an order for a product, an order confirmation with details about your purchase is automatically sent. Kaiser Atelier reserves the right to correct any errors on the website, including but not limited to typos, sold-out or discontinued items, and pricing mistakes. Sometimes, one-of-a-kind items may be sold elsewhere. In such cases, your order and payment will not be approved, and Kaiser Atelier will contact you.

Delivery

For delivery in Denmark, your order is sent via carrier unless otherwise agreed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Upon delivery, we recommend thoroughly inspecting the packaging to detect any shipping damage. Make sure to take pictures to document the condition it was delivered in. If the item is damaged upon receipt, or if you discover hidden damage (with no visible signs on the packaging), contact Kaiser Atelier (christiankaiserart@gmail.com) as soon as possible and within a reasonable time. In case of damage/defects, the product must NEVER be taken into use before a potential service/inspector has looked at it, and all packaging should be saved as documentation that it was a hidden damage. We recommend that complaints about hidden damage discovered after unpacking be made within 7 business days, as this significantly eases the burden of proof on the transporter. If the item's packaging is damaged upon delivery, you must write/describe the damage on the consignment note when you sign for receipt. However, you should refuse receipt of the item if it is clearly damaged. Thereafter, please contact Kaiser Atelier to agree on the further course of action.

The standard shipping method requires a signature upon delivery. If you are not home when the carrier arrives, the item will be taken back. You must then arrange a new delivery through Kaiser Atelier or collect it yourself. If there are any additional shipping costs, you must pay them yourself.

Right of Withdrawal / “Fortrydelsret”

Kaiser Atelier grants a 14-day full right of withdrawal from the time the item is received. If the 14th day is a public holiday, a Saturday, December 24th or 31st, then the 14 days expire on the following weekday. Upon return of an item, the item must be in the same condition and quantity as upon receipt and accompanied by a copy of the invoice. You can withdraw from a purchase by refusing to receive the item upon delivery or by returning the item to Kaiser Atelier. When returning an item, you must pay for the freight back to Kaiser Atelier yourself. We transfer the final return amount to the payment card used, no later than 14 days after we have received the item and checked it as described here: When we receive the returned item, we inspect its condition. We reserve the right to deduct a proportional share from your return amount (at best typically 20%, at worst more, of the item's price), provided you have not returned the item undamaged and in the intact original packaging, if you have written or placed stickers on the packaging, or in other ways have impaired its value. If the item is not returned in its original, intact packaging, you also bear sole responsibility for its condition during transport.

For Business Customers

There is no right of return unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Complaint

If you receive an incorrect item relative to your order or a damaged item, you must file a complaint within a reasonable time (usually no later than 2 months) after you have ascertained the defect, and no later than 2 years after receipt of the item. Any damage that happens during the use of the item is not covered. Complaints must be notified by email: christiankaiserart@gmail.com
